Ecological Hotel Maya Luna is an ideal base for snorkelling or scuba diving around the off-shore coral reef. The hotel can arrange hikes through the jungle or visits to ancient Mayan Temples.
Each bright Maya Luna bungalow is decorated with colourful murals painted by local artists. All bungalows include a ceiling fan, a purified water dispenser and a private bathroom. All electricity at the property is generated with solar panels.

Are there small fridges in the rooms?
Hi, thanks for your question. Out hotel restaurant runs on solar panels, and therefore its not possible to have fridges in the rooms. We can lend you a coolbox so you can keep beverages cold in your room. Kind regards Carolina
How do you get tot he hotel from Cancun airport?
you can rent a car, or we can arrange private transport for you or 3 days a week there is ADO direct bus service or you can take the Mayab bus until Limones, there you can continue with a collectivo or taxi to Mahahual
Is your private beach next to the property or do I need to use a means of transportation to go there?
All our bungalows are right on the beach, 22 meters from the ocean. No transport needed ;-)

Hi, thanks for your question. at Maya Luna unfortunately we dont rent bikes, but in town there are several places where you can rent bikes. (Maya luna is located 3 km south of where the boardwalk (town) ends. )
I'm wondering if the balcony for the quadruple room is a shared balcony.
The balcony from our beach front bungalow which sleeps 4 people is private. The terrace in front of our suite on the first floor is for the guests renting the room, but the door of the rom where are staff stays is on the very left side of the terrace

Hello, very good question right now! Most people fly into Cancun and than its another 4.5 hour drive to Mahahual and our hotel (360 km). Starting this december 2021, American Airlines offers direct flights to Chetumal (140km and 1.5 hours drive)
